I disagree with the other comments. The pub is a well kept and friendly place, with separate dining area, good food at reasonable prices.
The beer is Greene King IPA with at least one guest ale. It is a quiet friendly pub, with some very nice walks in the immediate area.

I agree with the last reviewer. It also suffers from the arrogant, snobby, cliquey locals. It should be a friendly place, but it isn't.

Don't go looking for a good pint and a pub atmosphere - it is a food servery now, shame!
